Who Buys from Me?

Ok , I am sitting here pondering what do I need to do for more sales on my Website? I don't have a clue except to ask people to visit the site and browse through it, sign up to my email address book and even ask me what they might be searching for as far as sports related memorabilia items are concerned. I mean, I have had this site for over a year now and I have a great supplier of team logo'd items from shotglasses to bird feeders that are made in the good ol' USA. I know ya'll have to have a favorite team out there, so why not visit and let me know what you think about how I can make my site better for you!
Thanks in Advance!!

My First Customer

Funny how that title sounds. It turns out I was my own first customer. I went to my website and bought a BBQ set for my Brother in law. He definitely needs one. He happens to be a Maryland Terrapin fan, which I don't mind. We all need to have a favorite. When the set arrived I had to inspect it, you know to get a feel for it and to see how it was packed. I also wanted to check out the utensils and see for myself how they looked , where the logo was stamped and what the actual size and weight were. There is nothing like using the five senses to get a better understanding of something to be proud of offering people. Now I can't wait until christmas to see his reaction and I am pretty sure I'll be getting the result of him using his new BBQ set.

OKay so I am feeling like I am getting the hang of this blog thing now so I want to talk about my favorite teams. In college sports, I love the Clemson Tigers , Hence the name of this very blog. That applies to all sports but I don't follow most, only football and baseball as much as I can. I try to watch basketball but I usually only keep up with it during March Madness. In Professional football my team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. When I was a little kid and all my friends kept asking who was my team, I didn't have one. But since I had to have one I figured it would be a team from wherever my dad was born. Turns out it was Wilkinsburg, Pa. just outside of Pittsburgh. They have been my team ever since and thanks to direct TV and the NFL Network I can now see all of their games. In Pro baseball, I grew up an Atlanta Braves fan. Just so ya'll know I grew up in Columbia, SC starting in 1971 and the closest sports teams were in Atlanta(I definitely wasn't going to be a Falcon Fan...It was hard enough watching the Braves before their "Worst to First" year that started their 14 year division winner streak(counting the strike year)).So there You have it, My Story of why I became a fan of my teams.

Football Season

OK it is August and the College Football season is drawing near. How many Fans out there have their Team's memorabilia ready to show off. If you don't, then what are you waiting for a Christmas present. Well if that is the case maybe you are already saying "Wait 'till Next Year" well before this season kicks off. But if you just don't have any idea of how to support your favorite team, then let me help.

First off many of you have seen the flags on the cars sticking out of a window on Saturday or Sunday morning heading towards the stadium. You can get those flags just about anywhere, even online. Now what if you are going to the game. Most people will get there early enough for some tailgating fun, food and spirits. If that is you then at the next game look around and check out all the different things with a team logo on it, some very common others very unique. Keep in mind some people are creative and very good artists. Not me , but I can get some things that are very creative indeed.

I believe its time to BBQ with your team

Just imagine for a moment you are watching someone backing up to the cookout in their pick-up or Suv and noticing their trailer hitch is sporting a hitch cover with their favorite team's logo. You think to yourself , "Isn't that cool, I'd like one like that for my truck".

For alot of folks out there Barbecueing is just another excuse to eat drink and be merry. For some however it is a way to show off what can be created with hot coals or gas, a grate, plenty of meat and veggies and of course the mac-daddy BBQ set with their favorite team's logo imprinted on it. As they get the fire going on the grill , they draw your attention to the metal case with their favorite team's logo on the outside. They open it so as to display the contents inside which includes a knife-edged spatula, grill fork, tongs, basting brush and 4 skewers for those all important Ka-bobs each with stainless steel handles and their team's logo on each utensil. Now that is a sign of a true fan and one way to BBQ with your team!
